Since 1997 the Athlete Support Fund has supported provincial athletes with scholastic bursaries to advance their education while remaining active in figure skating. $70,000 has been distributed to athletes in the past 24 years.
Athletes who have achieved recognition as a BC/YT Provincial team member are eligible to apply for an educational bursary if they are currently enrolled in a scholastic secondary or post-secondary program and will continue their studies in the following school year.
