Job description:
KFSC is a well-established local Vancouver Club celebrating 75 Years in the 2024 – 2025 skating season. We are looking to expand our Coaching Team for our energetic, competitive and committed skaters.
Qualifications
- Minimum Skate Canada Regional Certification or higher qualified coach to commence immediately (will consider low level with good credentials and willingness to complete certification).
- Ability to coach skaters in Skills and Freeskate at all levels and ages.
- Current good standing with Skate Canada including valid First Aid certification and Criminal Background Check.
Position Requirements
- *Team player * willing to integrate with Team Coaching approach.
- Provide instruction in private, semi-private and group format.
- Ability to coach Canskate, Starskate, Starskate Assessments and Competitive.
- Coaching Dance or Choreography also an asset.
- Ability to provide off-ice training.
- Attend skating competitions with our Club.
- Must be enthusiastic and reliable with good organizational skills.
- Able to communicate and interact professionally with Board & club members.
- Must be available for Kerrisdale FSC scheduled ice times.
Renumeration
- Minimum wage starting at $30/hour or higher based on years of experience and can be negotiated.
