Job description: 

KFSC is a well-established local Vancouver Club celebrating 75 Years in the 2024 – 2025 skating season.  We are looking to expand our Coaching Team for our energetic, competitive and committed skaters.   

Qualifications

  • Minimum Skate Canada Regional Certification or higher qualified coach to commence immediately (will consider low level with good credentials and willingness to complete certification).
  • Ability to coach skaters in Skills and Freeskate at all levels and ages.
  • Current good standing with Skate Canada including valid First Aid certification and Criminal Background Check.

Position Requirements

  • *Team player * willing to integrate with Team Coaching approach.
  • Provide instruction in private, semi-private and group format.
  • Ability to coach Canskate, Starskate, Starskate Assessments and Competitive.
  • Coaching Dance or Choreography also an asset.
  • Ability to provide off-ice training.
  • Attend skating competitions with our Club.
  • Must be enthusiastic and reliable with good organizational skills.
  • Able to communicate and interact professionally with Board & club members.
  • Must be available for Kerrisdale FSC scheduled ice times.

Renumeration

  • Minimum wage starting at $30/hour or higher based on years of experience and can be negotiated.

  • We offer year-round skating.
