Club: 100 Mile House & District Figure Skating Club
Job description:
100 Mile House & District Figure Skating Club is located in the heart of the South Cariboo in 100 Mile House. We are seeking to hire a positive, energetic and reliable coach to join our coaching team.
Our programs operate out of the South Cariboo Recreation Center from August to April and include Parent & Tot, CanSkate, Junior Academy, Senior Academy, StarSkate, Teen/ Adult and Power skating. With approximately 160 skaters we are a growing and expanding club with sessions 5-6 days per week.
We are looking for a CanSkate coach to instruct and manage the CanSkate program with opportunities to expand in private lesson sessions and StarSkate instruction depending on experience or willingness to expand their certification.
Under the mentorship of our Head Skating Director, we are committed to coach development and are willing to help support coaches in completing their certification. Minimum wage starting at $25/ hour or higher based on experience and level of responsibility.
Candidates must be:
CanSkate Coach trained or higher
First Aid certified
Good standing status with Skate Canada
Show up to date Criminal Record Check
