The Mount Arrowsmith Skating Club in Port Alberni, located on beautiful Vancouver Island, is currently accepting applications for the 2024/25 skating season and beyond.
We are looking for a minimum NCCP Certified Regional Coach with the incentive to further their education in the skating world. Wage ranges from $30 - $70 per hour depending on the NCCP level and experience.
Our season runs from September to May and two weeks in August, averaging approximately 12 hours per week, with the potential of more for a willing and motivated candidate.
You must be a team player, prepared to work with the current coaching team and be involved in all aspects of the club. Port Alberni is a family-oriented community and the Mount Arrowsmith SC is a well-established and organized club.
We run all Skate Canada programs including CanSkate, CanPower, Adult, STARSkate and Special Olympics.
