Job description: 

The Cloverdale Skating club is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our coaching team. We are a rapidly growing club that operates under a highly successful team coaching approach that is led by the Director of Programs. We offer a collaborative, professional and positive work atmosphere with competitive renumeration, various perks and professional development opportunities.

The Cloverdale Skating Club operates year round out of the Cloverdale Arena in Fall/Winter and the Surrey Sport and Leisure Centre in Spring/Summer. We have approximately 19 hours per week of ice in the Fall/Winter, 24 hours in Spring and 18 hours in the summer months. With the addition of the new Cloverdale Sport and Ice Complex (set for Fall 2025 completion) there is opportunity for more hours in the future. We have a wonderful group of skaters who are hard working and eager to progress.

Job Summary:

  • Must be available and willing to work all club programs that operate Monday -Saturday from the CanSkate to Gold Level including skills, freeskate and dance.
  • Willing to work with skaters of all ages and abilities with priority going to coaches who have experience working with STAR 6-Gold.
  • Ability to teach off ice programs an asset
  • Must be a team player as all programs are conducted with a strong team coaching

    philosophy.

    Club pay will be an hourly rate of $35-65 per hour based on NCCP Level and years of experience. Cloverdale SC also follows all ESA regulations regarding 5 paid sick days per year, vacation pay and minimum hours of pay per day.

    Provincial Coach Trained applicants are preferred but all committed coaches that love what they do are invited to apply.
