Over the past few months, the BC/YK Section has been working with the 5 Regions to plan competition opportunities for STARSkate & Competitive skaters.
We are happy to announce the following Competition schedule planned for fall 2021 in the BC/YK Section.
- 2021 Belairdirect BC/YK Section Autumn Leaves -October 15-17, 2021 in Chilliwack, BC-Registration now Open- Registration Deadline September 8, 2021
- 2022 Belairdirect BC/YK Sectional Championships -November 11-14, 2021 in Parksville, BC
- 2021 Vancouver Island Interclub - November 19-21, 2021 in Chemainus, BC (hosted by the Fuller Lake SC)
- 2021 Jingle Blades -November 26-28, 2021 in Surrey, BC (hosted by the North Surrey SC)
- 2021 Okanagan Interclub - November 26-28, 2021 in Kamloops, BC (hosted by the Kamloops SC)
- 2021 Kla How Ya - December 3-5, 2021 in Kitimat, BC (hosted by the Snow Valley SC)
- 2021 Gold Nugget - December 4, 2021 in Whitehorse, YK (hosted by the Arctic Edge SC)
- 2021 West Kootenay Invitational - December 10-12, 2021 in Castlegar, BC (hosted by Castlegar BC)
We are currently finalizing the plan for Synchronized Skating Competitions as well as the calendar for Winter 2022 competitions. A communication will be sent out to everyone as these competitions are finalized.
The current plan is to have all events in person for both skaters and officials. However, we are actively following the COVID-19 situation and the above schedule may change or shift at any time due to Regional, Provincial and/or National Restrictions or Guidelines.
