It is with great sadness that we announce the passing Louise Ferguson, a long time BC/YK Section volunteer.
Louise, along with her husband Dave, who passed in 2012, began volunteering with the Powell River Skating Club. She held the Secretary position on the BC Coast Region Board for many years. Louise was the editor of the BC/YK Section Thin Ice Magazine and also the Chair of the Awards Committee and oversaw the organziation of the annual BC/YK Section Awards Banquet. Louise along with her husband Dave could be found volunteering at countless Section and Region events.
Louise was eighty-three years old. Our condolences to Louise's family and friends on her passing.
